Gabe is pursuing a degree in both Political Science and Urban Studies & Planning at The University of California San Diego.
In 2015, Gabe co-founded The Triton, a digital-first, independent, student-run news source at UCSD.
He served as editor-in-chief from 2015-2017, focusing on holding campus administrators accountable by utilizing the California Public Records Act, as well as covering student government elections, on-campus protests, and statewide and national policy changes affecting the UC system.
As of 2017, Gabe is News Editor at The Triton.
